![]() The Secret of inviting happiness through many blessings, the spiritual medicine for all ills. For today only: Do not anger Do not worry Be humble Be honest in your work Be compassionate to yourself and others. Join your palms together in Gasshô or Anjali Mudra every morning and evening, keep your mind and recite. Improve your mind and body. I - Just for today, I will not be angry. Anger at others or oneself or at the whole world, creates serious blockages in one's energy. It is the most complex inner enemy. Anger tends to arise out of a feeling that we have lost control of a person or a situation. When we become angry with another person, we feel that we are regaining that control., This is, of course, a false perception. We are actually loosing control over ourselves. As you observe your anger as it arises, you will see that it reflects something about ourselves that needs attention, rather than a defect in the person you are angry with. Other people we draw into our lives are our mirrors, so look carefully at those who annoy you the most as they reflect aspects of yourself you would rather not see. Become an observant of you anger before its express it, the you will realise that there is nothing to be angry about. Reiki is an excellent tool to remove anger blockages which have accumulated in the body over years, but it cannot remove the residue of current anger which occurs daily. Letting go of anger. brings Piece into the Mind. II - Just for today, I will not worry. While anger deals with past and present events, worry deals with future ones. Although worry is not always a negative phenomena, endless worries may fill one's head, and each one bores a small hole in one's body and soul. While anger requires a focused Reiki treatment to remove obstacles, worry requires the energy to be spread throughout the entire body. Worry is everywhere. Everybody seems to be worried about something, and some of us are champions worriers...seeing only dark clouds overhead no mater how brightly the sun is shining. Worry causes unnecessary stress. Worry is the manifestation of inner fears. Worry robs us from peace of mind, and is a waste of our time and energy. When we worry we have lost faith, we are no longer able to "see the big picture" or trust what is happening to us. Mostly we worry because we don't believe that the world is full of abundance and we feel we will have to fight for everything we want. Choose something that is worry you, and just for TODAY don't worry about it. Ask the Universe for help instead, and have faith that when you ask you will be answered. Don't waste time worrying. Letting go of worry, brings healing into the Body. III - Just for today, I will be grateful. To be humble doesn't mean to indulge in false modesty, or force yourself into self-effacing behaviour. This is a form of egotism. Instead, consider gratitude to be the essence of being humble. When you wake up every morning, before open your eyes say "thank you" for your life and everything in it, no matter what, and the opportunity to experience yet another day. Gratitud to the Universe for both the good and the bad aspects of your life, and other people, brings you peace and abundance. Accepting the truth of your inner-self and living that truth. Being thankful brings Joy into the Spirit. IV - Just for today, I will do my work honestly. When looking for the meaning of this principle, ask what qualities associated with honesty are most important to you? You may consider in speech and actions crucial regardless of how this affects other people. Be honest with yourself, don't cheat yourself by denying admiring qualities of yourself as well as accepting what we feel and change if we need to. Support yourself and your family respectably, without harming others. Earn a respectable living, live a life of honor. Working Honestly brings Abundance into the Soul. V- Just for today, I will be kind to every living thing. Be compassionate to yourself and others. Note that first we are instructed to be show compassion to ourselves. When we show ourselves love, we are more able to give love to others- but it's often difficult to love ourselves because there is so much we don't like. Acceptance and forgiveness of all that we find less than perfect in our lives is at the core of being compassionate. Valuing the contribution that all other people make to our lives enables us to show them compassion. This includes those you perceive as causing problems, those who make you angry to are the source of worries. Meditating in the Divine purpose of pain as well as joy in life will enable you to become compassionate, and to be ONE with everything. Being Kind brings Love into the Will. ✨ References: *Reiki Bible by Eleanor MacKenzie. 2009 *Principles of Reiki by Kajsa Krishna.
